Email Marketing Systems Let You Sleep and Earn
Did you know that you can set up email marketing systems, quickly and easily? And did you also know that if you don’t have one going, almost from day 1, that you have lost a bundle? It’s true. You’re totally missing the boat.
So, how do you construct one?
The first step is lining up a great autoresponder service. Be sure to compare the benefits of each to find one that works for you. But also be aware of the deliverability. If the service doesn’t have dependable deliveries, no one will see your messages. So, be sure they state the percentage, and if they don’t… walk away.
After selecting your service, the next piece in the email marketing systems puzzle is creating a squeeze page. This HTML page is nothing more than a head line, three to five bullet points, and a web form to collect people’s names and addresses. Once that’s accomplished, you upload it to a hosting service, which will be your next consideration.
As with autoresponders, hosting services are a dime a dozen online. Some are great. Some are foul. You want a great service at a reasonable price, and that shouldn’t be more than around $10 a month. You can find cheaper services, but they’re not forever reliable. The service you choose, should be stable. Make sure they’ve been online a while. And check their up time percentage. If it’s under 99%, you should try another. Downtime isn’t just frustrating, it’s will be costly to your business!
After your squeeze page is uploaded, you drive traffic to it, people opt in and you’re building your list. For some free traffic methods, try blog commenting, video marketing, or even podcasting. Those are three free methods that can really boost your results, too. With these methods, you’re helping the people in your niche to like you, and they’ll be more apt to join your list.
Yet, you can’t have email marketing systems that work without a follow-up series. Write several emails (at least four) and put them into your follow-up sequence at your autoresponder. These messages should be informational at first, just to get the people on that list to bond with you. Give them interesting information they may not know about your niche, and perhaps, in a P. S. at the end, offer a product that either solves or gives further information on the issue. Or, send information and then, every few messages, a sales message.
That’s it! Once you have that set up and are driving traffic to your squeeze page, you’ll be building your list and people will get your messages on a regular basis, even while you sleep.
